Abstract

Quality testing on software is very important before users use the software. Testing of software is needed to minimize losses that occur due to system errors. In this study, namely testing the software for determining majors using the Black Box Testing technique of Equivalence Partitions. This Equivalence Partitions technique focuses on testing using input data on each form contained in the decision support system for determining majors, each input form will be tested and grouped based on its function whether it is appropriate or not. The results of testing using Black Box Testing based on Equivalence Partitions provide results where we will find out whether this software has errors or not, and this test can guarantee the quality of the decision support system software for determining this major.
